WJAI Hosting First Ever Web Journalist Media Summit. 2 Days Event will Talk on Future of Web Media Journalism

For the first time, the city of Patna is set to host the Web Media Summit 2023 on the 28th and 29th of October. This groundbreaking event will witness the participation of renowned journalists and experts from various fields across the country.

Preparations in Full Swing

The summit, organized by the Web Media Journalists Association of India (WJAI), is in its final stages of preparation. Anand Kaushal, the national president of the association, shared this information, highlighting that the summit will focus on the future of journalism and the responsibilities of journalists towards society.

A Two-Day Conclave of Ideas

The first day of the summit is divided into two sessions. The initial session will see media veterans from every corner of the country deliberating on the future of journalism. Notable personalities from Network-18, Zee News, ABP Network, News Nation, TV-9 Bharat, Punjab Kesari, and other media houses will be in attendance. The evening session will feature a cultural program from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, showcasing the artistry of Mithila Ratna and Pandit Abhishek Mishra of the Darbhanga Gharana.

The second day will host the governing body meeting of the association, attended by prominent members from different states. Discussions will revolve around the growth trajectory of the organization and its adherence to its founding principles. Post discussions, a new executive committee will be announced.

The WJAI, a national registered organization for web journalists, strives to protect and enhance the freedom of web journalists. “The aim is to elevate the standard of web journalism in India and improve the quality of news content,” stated Anand Kaushal.
